Dr Avik Jonathan Dandapat

Avik qualified from Birmingham University where he gained his BDS qualification. He went on to working in a private practice in Royal Leamington Spa and attained the MFGDP (UK) qualification by exam 2 years after qualifying (at the earliest possible time allowed). After a period of general practice training, he was involved in surgical dentistry in hospitals based in various Maxillo-Facial departments around the UK. Avik also did some sabbatical work in India- working closely with Maxillo-Facial surgeons involved in head and neck surgery and leading the dentofacial reconstructive work after such extensive surgery.

He then embarked on further post graduate training (over a 3 year period) at the Royal College of Surgeons of England relating to Dental Implants. He passed the Diploma in Implantology by exam and an extra achievement was the fact that he was the youngest Dentist in the UK to hold this qualification. He also gained an Advanced Certificate in Implant Dentistry.
Avik was an award finalist for the “Best Young Dentist” in the Dentistry Awards 2007.

Avik is the principal dentist at Twyford Dental & Implant Centre where he has revolutionised the practice over the last 3 years to become a state-of-the-art Implant dedicated practice.

Avik is a mentor and also lectures for Association of Dental Implantology (UK) across the country. He also runs hands-on courses teaching other dentists how to restore implants at his practice. He is an official mentor for Ankylos Implants.

Dr Nahid N Dandapat

Nahid left Ealing to study for her BDS at the University of Manchester. Upon completion she returned to West London to work in general practice and gained her Membership at the Royal College of Surgeons (MFGDP). Nahid currently is completing the Diploma in Restorative Dentistry at the well reputed Eastman Dental Institute, London. Her interests lie in Periodontology (Gum disease) and Paediatric Dentistry.

Dr Mukesh Soni

Dr Soni graduated in 1989 with Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Manchester University. He is a member of several prestigious institutions, such as:

Dr Soni has placed over 2,500 implants over 10 years with a very high success rate. He trained under the world-leading implantologists Dr Hilt Tatum and Dr Ashok Sethi.

Recently, Dr Soni went to America to attend the highly acclaimed Larry Rosenthal Smile Enhancement Course in New York. This multi-phased comprehensive coursed based at the Rosenthal Institute is an extensive training venue for cosmetic dentistry enthusiasts.

Dr Soni ventured to the US with the vision to offer the best cosmetic enhancement make-overs to his patients. Cosmetic enhancement packages include implants, mini-implants, cosmetic veneers, white restorations, cosmetic dentures (unbreakable) and other techniques which would surely resolve dental problems, improve your look and eventually improve your life and career with confidence.

Dr Raja Dandapat

Our in-house Medical Doctor is Raja Dandapat, who is also Avik’s father. He is a General Medical Practitioner in London. He is available for Botox and Facial Rejuvenation procedures, as well as medical check-ups and minor surgery.

Dr Harris Smeyatsky

Practice limited to orthodontics

Harris attends the practice every month on a Saturday. He is very experienced in Orthodontic Treatment (Braces) for children and adults.Harris has been involved in orthdontic treatment for over 20 years and has a special interest in all aspects of modern orthodontic treatments. He is fully trained in the use of the Invisalign (Invisable brace) system and fixed and removable braces

Dr Shreeti Patel

Practice limited to Endodontics

Shreeti is our expert in endodontics (root canal treatment) she has been limited to practice of endodontics since 2002. And has achieved the clinical Masters in endodontics. She utilises the latest in microscopic root canal treatment and is able to performed re-treatment and offers high success rates. We strongly believe at Twyford dental that root canal treatments should be performed by clinicians that have specific special interests in this area and have further specific qualficiations in the subject of root canal treatment.

Dr Sandra Suppo

BSc(hons), BDS (cardiff)
Dentist

Dr. Sandra Suppo qualified in Dentistry from the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff, in 1998.

Prior to this in 1995, Sandra obtained her BSc (Hons) qualification in Basic Dental Science, being one of just six students in her year to be chosen to do this additional qualification. Having qualified in 1998 Sandra went on to do her Vocational Training in Mortimer, Berkshire.

She then went on to practice General Dentistry in Reading for the next 8 years doing a mix of Denplan and Private work. In 2006 she achieved Denplan Excel accreditation.

Sandra lives with her husband Sean and daughter Kara in Newbury. She has a range of hobbies including Bee Keeping and Running.
